The Ohio-based rock band, Killed By Art, formed in late 2009. Based on the killer rhythm section of Todd Panstingel (Hotbox, Entrenched) on bass guitar and Brian Wise (Entrenched, Scrog) on percussion, the band began writing with screaming lead guitarist Bill Kirkbride (Rotten Apple, Hired Guns). The talented Kimberly Weiss (Harm’s Way, Far From Eden) joined on vocals, and the band was completed with the addition of Nathan Goff (Entrenched, Snag, Far From Eden) on guitar in early 2010.
Killed By Art fuses the crunchy edge of metal with the groovier and darker side of blues and rock to create a unique sound that is tight, aggressive, and somehow a little funky behind the melodic and powerful vocals. Original songs are the strength of this group with years of live and studio experience and writing credits from many different genres.
Killed By Art is also on rotation and available by request through Buckeye Music Magazine radio, Untapped Radio, X Chamber Radio, and Wake The Nation Radio.
